Newborn sessions are available on weekdays only.
Khayla’s studio for new born session is relaxed and follows very simple womb link posing, and natural positions. She loves to capture the connection and tangible bottomless love between you, your partner new baby & siblings.
It’s not usually possible to book an exact time and date for your newborn session in advance, however we put your due date in our schedule in lieu of a booking date, and we ask that you let us know as soon as baby is born so we can make ourselves available for your session as soon you’re ready.
The ideal time for newborn sessions is when baby is 5-10 days old, but we are happy to photograph newborns up to 6 weeks old. You must book before baby is born to avoid disappointment as we are regularly booked out 3-4 months in advance. Once you know when your due date is is essentially the best time to book.
Our approach to newborn sessions is a unique combination of lifestyle and simple fine art. We capture natural and emotive moments of you with your newest family member.
Newborn sessions take place in our studio (or at your home by special request) on a weekday only. We spend a similar amount of time on a newborn session as we do on any other, so you do not need to set aside an entire morning or afternoon for your session. Yours and your baby’s comfort, safety and enjoyment are our priority.
